I'm so serious because this is annoying. It's been a month and all we hear is the same unhelpful news over and over. People are leaving the game at a rapid pace. My guild usually has like 20 people online a day; now we're lucky if we see 5. That should say something about where the game is going.

That's what I meant. I didn't mean they were ready to be distributed this moment, but they had been calculated. Thanks, Regina.

If your guildies are only playing this game because of some free points for PvP rewards and keys, that doesn't say anything about the game. That says something about your guildies, and more importantly, your guild. If you're so irritated that this game isn't "working properly" in your eyes, there are bazillions of other free MMO's out there in the intertubes. A simple google search for "Free MMO" will provide a whole boatload of searches. Maybe one of those can satisfy your entitlement desire.

XTH is not going to change that, neither will news about fixing it. And GW was always meant to be a casual game, and according to Regina's recent statement, the April update brought some new activity (not in your guild, neither in mine).
Once more, no need to get so serious, it doesn't impact gameplay, it's free money and that's why people take it so seriously. Well they shouldn't, if it's annoying, ignore it for a while (weeks) or move on to another game.
When you put GW in context, all this is a minor annoyance. It's not as if we couldn't AB/GVG or play in DoA/dungeons because they had to be shut down for repair.

I think you may have a slightly different perception of time to my understanding of what happened in the last two weeks...
It's been less than two weeks since June 18, which was the last time that XTH points were distributed.
It's been one week since we announced the decision (June 23) to take Xunlai down for extended maintenance.

And that distribution was faulty, so over a month (48days) since points were properly handed out.

The 18th was not the date people have been waiting since.

Every distribution has given a faulty number of points to at least some people. Last month's distribution error was obviously bigger than usual. There's no reason to get picky over how long the XTH has been broken because it's honestly been broke since the release.
However, instead of everyone moaning about it, you should be happy that Anet is actually taking action to fix this. They're taking time out of other development processes to fix an issue that isn't a necessity to the game. Anet could have said "Well, XTH is broken so we're removing it from the game permanently." Then you might have a little reason to bitch. But they're making an honest effort to fix it, and time frame aside, it's not something that should be bashed.
The community should be giving Anet a positive response to this, not a negative one. Bashing the temporary shutdown of the XTH only discourages Anet from fixing items like this. After all, why bother when the community is just gonna rage-face anyways?

assuming your account has already been registered for hero battles (yeah that's required for predictions), you get the points from kun shao then cash them in with tolkano (for zkeys) all at the GToB.
you'll see everyone gather around kun shao, he usually gives the points, but not right away, about 10+mins after you login from downloading the new build.

Speak for yourself.
The expected date of point distribution was June 11th. But it was delayed a week. The problems appeared on the 18th. It's been less than three weeks since the expected date. Less than two weeks since the problems started. Tender Wolf somehow expanded that to a month.

THANK YOU.
So many people are angry at A.net for there being a problem, but those same people are then angry that A.net is trying to fix it. Strange.

I'm waiting like you! It's been over 2 and a half week with no points. I think A-Net is trying to determine the best way to approach this. For example..
A-Net can....
A) give EVERYONE certain amount of XTH points (to cover up the screw ups)
B) Only provide points for those that missed out on the delivery on June 18th
C) Trying to fix the XTH house and re-distribute the points after it is fix
Either way I have patient to wait it out.. even if it mean waiting until mid or end of July!

I think this is like the 3rd time this has been said, and I am hoping someone from ANET reads this and perhaps comments on it.
Wouldnt it be easier and make everyone happier if they just gave everyone 100 points NOW instead of waiting for them to figure out who gets what? Easier for ANET, they're happier. No more waiting for us, We're happier. WOULD ANYONE HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THIS?
Regina, its a simple fix to a very complex issue and from a customer service standpoint it is your best option. Can you please comment on this?

To all, like me, who are upset about this problem, give up!
There are too many Anet sycophants willing to flame anyone who has a negative word about Anet and given the above response, Anet knows this.
We've just been politely told to shut up and wait until it's done, with no guarantee of information being shared unless they choose.
I'm sure glad my auto mechanic doesn't work this way.
